Being a forward-thinking company, we are constantly updating what we offer to residents and clients beyond the realms of what is required.
Here are a number of things we provide, or do within our homes, that give you the complete care package.
Every day, our Activity Co-ordinators plan things for residents to do that improve and stimulate all areas of their lives. Activities such as baking, flower arranging, painting, crafts and jigsaws, take place regularly. We also take time to learn about our residents’ existing hobbies and interests, and where possible, aim to include these in the activities programme.
Taking residents out and about is important to us, as we believe it is crucial for their well being to access the community and interact with others outside of the home environment. Our days out include going to the theatre, walks, trips to the park, visiting a café or simply going to the local shops. Also, every year, we go to local events such as The Flower Show and Woodvale Rally.
Everyone loves a party and we love holding them! We make a big effort to celebrate significant holidays and seasonal events, inviting friends and family along, which has the added bonus of stimulating the memory and giving feelings of warmth and security to our residents. Events include Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Chinese New Year and The Queen’s Birthday.
